LCSI blasts 2011 with Live Life @ LGC

 
“This is how much people are valued in this organization”, says Human and Capital Management Director Jun Lauro during the launch of Life Life @ LGC on the first work day of 2011, January 3.
 
Live Life @ LGC is a health and wellness program advocated by the Lina Group Chairman Bert Lina and wife Sylvia. The program calls for a balanced lifestyle among Lina Group employees. This comes in a holistic framework embracing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of a human being. The Corporate Clinic, headed by Dr. Filmarosa Herbosa, heads the medical aspect of this wellness program
 
Employees’ body mass index (BMI) were determined in order to trace which category on the Weight Watch Program suits the individual. The Weight Watch Program aims to normalize the BMI through physical activities and proper nutrition. Life counseling and financial coaching will also take off to mold the emotional and mental aspects of the employees. The spiritual enrichment program encompasses recollections and Eucharistic celebrations.
 
A Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Pogi S. Andres, a flag raising ceremony, and aerobics exercise powered the pre-launching program in line with the Lina Group annual tradition of starting the new year with a thanksgiving mass, celebrating nationalism, and hearing messages from the Chairman and Presidents.
 
A total of 319 employees graced the event, the highest number of participants to date, a signal of interest and a healthier LGC environment by December 2011. News blasts through LGC Mailers will be sent to update employees of programs, schedules, and progress reports.
